Starting on November 6th, French illustrator and artistic director Sophie Glasser begins her U.S. tour of French dual language schools. She will lead educational craft workshops inspired by her activity book, The Big Manual, (Le Gros Manuel in French), for students in French dual language programs in California, Oregon, Colorado, Minnesota, Louisiana, Georgia, Washington DC and Maryland.
The Gros Manuel tour is part of a program called ‘French Getaways,’ which aims to support French dual language programs by providing students with access to French/Francophone environments in contexts outside of traditional classroom learning. The program is an initiative of the Cultural Services of the Embassy of France with support from the l’Institut Français of Paris.
