The "Joutes" is a French debating contest for UK students in Years 12 and 13, whose national final is held every year in March. This year, the Francophonie UK group is sponsoring free workshops for state schools wishing to join the competition.
Every year, hundreds of British Sixth formers participate in the Joutes Oratoires Lycéennes regional competitions held throughout the country. The 10 best teams qualify for the grand national final, which takes place every year around 20th March, International Francophonie Day.
